In 2011, Bill Koch dreamed of building a school that offered renowned academic opportunities, an enriching atmosphere, and extraordinary experiential learning for all students. Inspired by a life-changing event eight decades prior, a generous Texas businessman helped send Mr. Koch Sr. to the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). This generous gift enabled Mr. Koch Sr. to receive an exceptional education at a top university, and in turn, Mr. Koch Jr. would be able to attend MIT 40 years later. He realized this one act of generosity impacted his family for decades. Oxbridge Academy and its groundbreaking need-based financial aid program is Mr. Koch's way of paying it forward.
