Murray and McIlvaine Win Pathfinder Awards

Senior Finley Murray, won first-place in the Communications category of the 2022 Pathfinders Awards that were announced Friday night by The Palm Beach Post, which has sponsored the college scholarship awards for the past 39 years. Murray, who plans to attend the University of California-Berkeley, will receive a $3,000 scholarship. Classmate Nicholas "Cole" McIlvaine, who plans to attend Tufts University, was awarded third place in the Literature category and will receive a $1,500 scholarship. Ava Farahani (Art) and George Wandoff (Sports) were Pathfinder semifinalists.

The Pathfinder Awards are comprised of 18 categories with about three dozen seniors from public and private high schools in Palm Beach and Martin counties competing in each category.
