Early Decision is the application option for students who know Oxbridge is their first choice and intend to enroll, if accepted. We recommend you begin the application process early to ensure completion by November 8, 2024. 

• November 1, 2024 - Last Day to Apply

  • Admission and financial aid (if applicable) applications
  • Incomplete applications will be moved to Rolling Decision
     
• December 18, 2024 - Decision Release Date (via email after 3 p.m.)
   
• January 10, 2025 - Enrollment Contracts Due

Beginning January 6, 2025, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. 

• Complete your admission and financial aid (if applicable) applications as soon as possible.
• Once complete, applications will be reviewed and decisions will be issued on a rolling basis. 
• Enrollment contracts for applicants who are accepted will be due three weeks from the decision release date.
• Please consider the timing of your application based on your school search and readiness to commit to an enrollment contract. 

Please complete the inquiry form if you have not already done so.

• After completing the inquiry form, you will receive an email from Veracross to set up your portal. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folder.
• Once your portal is set up, go to manage candidate application and then view checklist.
• From the checklist, you will have the ability to sign up for a campus visit.
• Be sure to save your login credentials.

To apply, return to your Veracross portal. If you did not save your credentials and need to reset your password, click Password Reset.

You are considered an applicant after these four items are complete.

• Pay the Application Fee ($100)
• Select your Application Option (Early Decision or Rolling Decision)
• Answer the Financial Aid Question
• Complete the Parent Questionnaire

Once you become an applicant, your application checklist will display in your portal.

• Admission applications are considered complete when all checklist items are checked off.
• We recommend you bookmark the link to your portal and check it often.
• It is the responsibility of each family to manage and track their application in the portal.

The student questionnaire must be completed by the applicant in the portal before scheduling the required shadow day and interview.

Download the Request for Records Release form (also available in your portal).

• Fill it out, sign it and give it to your current school. Your school will submit records directly to us. We will upload them and this section will be marked as complete. 
• As indicated on the release form, three years of transcripts are required for all grade levels (two previous years and current year grades to date). If you have attended multiple schools over the last three years, please send one form to each school.
• Oxbridge accepts the applicant's most recent standardized test scores. Examples of acceptable tests include: ACT, ERB, FAST, ISEE, IOWA, MAP, PSAT, SAT, SSAT, Terranova, etc.
• Test scores should be included with transcripts submitted by your current school. If your current school does not have your test scores, email them to admission@oapb.org.
• Should you choose to take the SSAT, the Oxbridge code is 5620. Dates and registration information are found at ssat.org.

Teacher recommendations are required from current math and English teachers.

• An optional recommendation may be completed by a faculty member or administrator of your choice.
• Recommendation forms must be delegated to teachers directly from your portal.
• The recommender's first and last name, as well as their email address, will be necessary for recommendation requests. 
• We recommend that you wait one marking period to delegate teacher recommendations so the teacher can get to know the applicant before submitting.

We require all applicants to grades 6-12 to register for a shadow day.

• The required student interview will be completed during the shadow day. 
• Shadow days will begin the week of September 30, 2024.
• Shadow days are available only on select days, which you can view in your portal.
