The Admission Committee reviews applications on a rolling basis throughout the spring. Based on your school search, please review our notification timeline and keep in mind that seat availability may vary by grade level. If your student is accepted, enrollment contracts are due three weeks after the notification date. Please email admission@oapb.org to inform the Admission Office which candidate pool you choose.

  • Discuss your readiness to commit with your admission counselor based on where you are in your school search.  
  • Enrollment contracts for accepted students will be due three weeks from notification date.

Complete the inquiry form if you have not already done so.

• After completing the inquiry form, you will receive an email from Veracross to set up your portal. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folder.
• Once your portal is set up, go to manage candidate application and then view checklist.
• From the checklist, you will have the ability to sign up for a campus visit.
• Be sure to save your login credentials.

To become an applicant, return to your Veracross portal. If you did not save your credentials and need to reset your password, click Password Reset.

Start Your Application

• Pay the Application Fee ($100)
• Select your Application Option
• Answer the Financial Aid Question
• Complete the Parent Questionnaire

Once you become an applicant, your application checklist will display in your portal.

Once you have completed the steps in the Start Your Application section in the portal, the application checklist will be available.

• Admission applications are considered complete when all checklist items are checked off.
• We recommend you bookmark the link to your portal and check it often.
• It is the responsibility of each family to manage and track their application in the portal.

Once an admission decision has been communicated to a family, the merit scholarship will no longer be available. We encourage all interested candidates to submit their materials promptly to be considered for this opportunity.

Rolling Decision Applicants

To be considered in rolling decision, applicants must ensure that their merit scholarship application is complete with their admission and, if applicable, financial aid application. All applications are reviewed at the same time. Finalists will be notified on a rolling basis and scheduled for interviews.

All Merit Scholarship applicants are required to submit the following:

1.  Write your essay and be prepared to upload it at the end of the Merit Scholarship Application Form.

Essay Topic:

• Oxbridge Academy’s vision is to graduate students who will meet the world boldly with initiative and kindness. Reflect upon a time when you demonstrated leadership, took initiative, or exhibited kindness. Explain how the experience changed you and what lesson(s) you learned. 

Essay Criteria:

• Your full name must be at the top of the document. 
• Include the word count at the bottom.
• Name your file: Last name, First name Merit (ex. Smith, John Merit).
• Save as PDF or Word document.
• Minimum of 400 words.

2. Be prepared to answer the following questions on the form:

• Tell us about your extracurricular involvement including details including years of participation, teams, organizations, clubs, etc.
• Tell us about your awards and accomplishments.
• How do you demonstrate leadership and strong character inside and outside of the classroom?
• How will you contribute to Oxbridge?
• Why do you feel you are deserving of this merit scholarship?

3. Complete and submit the Merit Scholarship Application Form.
