As a music teacher, it is my belief that all students, regardless of physical or intellectual ability, should be offered the opportunity to discover and explore their potential as musicians, and to increase these natural capacities through formal music instruction.

Education: B.S. in Music Education from University of New Hampshire; M.ED Integrated Arts from Plymouth State University
Distinguishing Honors: Ernie Mills is a dedicated music teacher from rural New Hampshire. His Oxbridge students have gone on to study at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, play alongside Peter Erskine, and perform at Sunfest and Rib Round Up. Ernie has led Oxbridge’s Jazz Ensemble to perform at the Berklee Jazz Festival, and he has presented at the Florida Music Educators Association’s Teacher Conference.
Classes Taught: Jazz Ensemble, String Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Rock Band, and Intro to Performing Arts.
Education: B.S. in Voice Performance from Palm Beach Atlantic University
Distinguishing Honors: Catherine Mitil has studied private voice for more than ten years with internationally-recognized teachers. She has presented numerous solo recitals, and continues to perform as a soloist in several venues in and around Palm Beach County. She was awarded Outstanding Graduate from the School of Music and Fine Arts at Palm Beach Atlantic University, as well as winning various state and regional vocal competitions. As an educator, Mrs. Mitil’s choirs have consistently earned superior awards at MPA assessments, and performed in prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and Symphony Center.
