Basketball - Boys - Head Coach

Brandon Strassburger enters his sixth season as a boys' basketball coach at Oxbridge Academy. Coach Strassburger will begin his second year as the Head Coach this season. During his first season as the Head Coach, he guided the Thunderwolves to a 18-8 overall record which included a District Championship and a trip to the Regional Finals.

Prior to joining Oxbridge, Brandon graduated with honors from Northwood University and earned his bachelors of business administration. At Northwood, Brandon played for hall of fame coach Rollie Massimino during the 2009-2010 season. Brandon worked as Coach Massimino’s administrative assistant with the Seahawks and helped them to an overall record of 124-19 in four seasons. His duties include scouting, recruiting, player development, and coordinating the well-known Rollie Massimino’s Summer Basketball Camp.

As a standout player at Olympic Heights Community High School in Boca Raton, Brandon was voted captain amongst his peers his junior and senior seasons. During high school, Brandon also lettered in baseball, football, and track and field. Upon graduating in 2006, Brandon was named head coach of the boys' freshman basketball team, a role he maintained for three years while compiling a winning record of over .500.

Brandon is the Founder and President of Beach City Basketball, a 501©3 Not-For-Profit basketball organization, which specializes in private/group training sessions, clinics, camps and youth travel teams. Brandon resides in West Palm Beach and spends much of his free time traveling and visiting family and friends.
