Lacrosse - Boys - Head Coach
Before coming to Oxbridge Academy, Stan Ross had been coaching Division I lacrosse for 16 years. His coaching resume includes Princeton, Towson, Butler and most recently, The United States Naval Academy.
He finished the 2013 season with an overall coaching record of 155-110 (.585), and has coached 13 MLL All-Stars and 24 NCAA All-Americans while helping his team to two MLL No. 1 playoff seeds, one MLL Championship Game, five NCAA conference titles, and seven NCAA tournament berths. In 2013, Ross was part of a coaching staff that led a team that set 21 team records and 10 MLL history and just the fourth team in North American pro sports to finish a season undefeated. Denver’s 14-0 record set a league mark for most wins in a season. In 2014, Coach Ross was named the head coach of the Florida Launch of the MLL.
Stan attended Loyola College, where he played four years of varsity lacrosse as a long-stick defenseman and received a BA in Elementary Education. He is also a graduate of The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland. Stan is currently the Dean of Students at Oxbridge Academy and resides in Wellington with his wife, Kathleen, son, JD and daughter, Katie.
