Soccer - Boys - Head Coach

Laurie Calloway completed his fourth season as the Head Boys' Soccer coach at Oxbridge Academy. Prior to joining the ThunderWolves, Coach Calloway has spent over 30 years coaching soccer both at the high school and professional levels.

Born in Birmingham, England, Coach Calloway played professionally both in England and in the United States. In 1976, he led the San Jose Earthquakes to the Semi-Finals of North American Soccer League (N.A.S.L.) while being named the team Most Valuable Player and to the All-League Team. During his 18-year playing career, Calloway made over 500 league and cup appearances.

As a coach in the United Soccer League for the Rochester Rhinos, Syracuse Salty Dogs, and San Francisco Blackhawks, Calloway amassed a record of 111-58-35 while regularly coaching the teams to the playoffs. During his four seasons at the helm of the Des Moines Menace in the Premier Development League, Calloway qualified the team for four U.S. Open Cups and was the winningest coach in the team's history. For his career Coach Calloway has won 288 games as a coach entering this season.

In addition to his coaching duties at Oxbridge, Coach Calloway is the Advanced Player and Development Director at the Palm Beach Soccer Academy. Laurie and his wife Marci have two daughters, Tina and Taylor.
