3D Art
Students in 3D art classes explore three main areas of concentration: wood and metalworking, mixed media sculpture, and ceramics. These courses introduce budding artists to various creative building and design methods that historical and contemporary artists embrace. These sculptural techniques are employed to produce both functional and aesthetic works of art that embrace craftsmanship and intentionality concepts. Through study in the 3D arts, students also practiced developing preliminary sketches to communicate their ideas, writing reflectively about their finished works. Students can participate in exhibitions and other community events.
