Vocal Music
Oxbridge Singers provides a space for singers to cultivate students’ musical abilities and vocal skills. In this course students will learn fundamental vocal techniques including breath control, ear training, sight-reading and vocal range expansion to name a few. Singers learn musical literacy by studying and performing a variety of challenging vocal repertoire from different culture’s, genres and time periods from Renaissance to Contemporary styles fostering a deeper appreciation for music while honing their singing abilities. Opportunities for solo’s, local and state competitions, honor choir festivals and working with guest artists are available throughout the year.
