Mental Health
At Oxbridge Academy, a student’s well-being is just as important as their academic success.
Our Mental Health Department provides a safe, supportive space where students can share their concerns, learn healthy coping skills, and feel empowered to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Our goal is to be approachable and accessible. We want both students and parents to feel comfortable reaching out whenever support is needed. We are here to listen, guide, and partner with you in helping your child grow not only as a student, but as a confident and resilient young person.
Mental Health Counselors
The mental health counselors work closely with students, parents, and teachers to ensure each child receives the support they need. Our services include:
• Individual Counseling: Helping students manage stress, anxiety, friendships, and other personal challenges.
• Crisis Support: Immediate care when a student is experiencing emotional distress.
• Group Programs & Workshops: Building skills in areas such as resilience, self-esteem, and social relationships.
• Classroom Programs: Promoting awareness and healthy coping through schoolwide initiatives like anti-bullying campaigns, suicide prevention, gratitude journaling, and more.
• Family Collaboration: Partnering with parents to provide updates, resources, and strategies that support students at home and at school.
• Community Referrals: Connecting families with outside providers if additional support is needed.
