Congratulations to the newest members of the Oxbridge chapter of the Spanish Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica). Membership requires students to be enrolled in Honors Spanish (Spanish III or higher) and plan to continue their Spanish studies throughout high school. Eligible students must have completed at least three semesters of Spanish, maintain a minimum 3.5 average each year, and receive a recommendation from their teacher or sponsor. In addition, candidates are expected to demonstrate strong character, leadership, and integrity through excellent behavior, active participation, motivation, and responsibility.

Sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP), this prestigious honor society was founded in 1953 to recognize high academic achievement, promote interest in Hispanic studies, and provide scholarship opportunities.
