ThunderWolves volunteers form an assembly line at the Palm Beach County Food Bank to put together food packages that will be distributed to families in need.

Dean of Students Jason Glick recaps Oxbridge Academy's final community service outing of the academic year  -- volunteering at the Palm Beach County Food Bank on April 18:

Our ThunderWolves turned out in full force for a morning of volunteering at the Palm Beach County Food Bank. Working behind the scenes in the warehouse to support hunger relief efforts across the community, our students demonstrated their typical altruism and selflessness throughout.

During their shift, the Oxbridge crew packed more than 2,000 backpacks with essential food items and snacks, helping to ensure that families and children have reliable access to meals. They collaborated alongside students from a neighboring high school, whose efforts preparing and sealing pasta bags became a key component of the backpack donations. 

The experience highlighted the power of teamwork, efficiency, and shared purpose in addressing food insecurity. By the end of the morning, students left with a strong sense of accomplishment, knowing their efforts would directly support those in need throughout Palm Beach County. Way to go, ThunderWolves
